## Job Description

Accounts Payable Coordinator Location: Downtown Kansas City, MO
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Duration: 6-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Authorization: Green Card Required

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator for a 6-week contract opportunity in Downtown Kansas City. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounts payable background, experience with Workday, and supervisory skills. This role will support daily AP operations while ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Responsibilities 
- Process and review vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries
- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
- Monitor accounts payable workflows and support process improvements
- Provide guidance and leadership to team members as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications 
- Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Associate's Degree
- Experience using Workday required
- Demonstrated supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
