Key Responsibilities - Manage the accounts receivable process, including billing and account maintenance - Post and reconcile payments accurately and in a timely manner - Monitor outstanding balances and perform collection activities as needed - Prepare and review accounts receivable aging reports - Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues - Respond to customer questions regarding charges, statements, payments, and account balances - Work closely with internal departments to research and resolve account discrepancies - Maintain accurate and organized A/R records and documentation - Assist with month-end accounting activities and reporting - Provide professional and courteous service to customers - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications - Previous accounts receivable, billing, collections, or general accounting experience - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Good organizational and time-management skills - Comfortable working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to handle customer inquiries and sensitive account matters professionally and confidentially - Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment The Opportunity This position offers the opportunity to join a stable, close-knit team where employees work together and take pride in doing things the right way.
