The ideal candidate will use their Class A license to operate dump trucks, flatbed equipment, and/or tractor-trailers to haul aggregates and materials from our vendors to our batch plant. This role requires flexibility with working hours and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations. - Operate dump trucks, flatbed equipment, and/or tractor-trailers to transport aggregates and materials safely and efficiently. - Pick up materials from various vendor locations and deliver them to the batch plant in a timely manner. - Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. - Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. - Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to deliveries and vehicle inspections. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, vendors, and plant personnel. - Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including potential overtime or varied shifts as needed. - Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record. - Proven experience operating dump trucks, flatbed equipment, and/or tractor-trailers. - Strong knowledge of safety procedures and DOT regulations. - Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules. - Good communication skills and a professional attitude. - Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading and vehicle inspections.
