Responsibilities & Duties of Assembly Technician: Assembly of various metal and plastic components and subcomponents with the help of technical drawingsUse of mainly hand tools to construct sub-assemblies and productsEnsuring and sustaining high standards of products across batches of componentsWorking with the Production Coordinator and the assembly team to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company's delivery timesReceipt of deliveries and raising of order requestsMaintaining a clean workspace and organisation of stock itemsFilling out and maintaining proper paperworkEscalating repeated errors and helping to suggest and implement improvementsOther tasks may be allocated as necessaryQualifications & Skills required: Previous light mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not compulsoryGood attention to detail is essentialMust be self-motivated and able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standardForklift license is beneficial but not mandatory, opportunities for forklift training may be availableThe successful applicant will be on their feet the majority of the time and required to lift and move items on a regular basisFull training with any tools and machinery will be providedAssembly Technician Fordingbridge SP6 Salary £26k Monday - Friday
