**Position Title: Assistant General Manager – Operations**

**Location : Pune**

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven **Assistant General Manager – Operations** to lead end-to-end operations across our entertainment and amusement businesses. The role will drive **operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance**.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operational Leadership & Business Excellence: Lead overall operations across F&B, Guest Services, Entertainment, Retail and Facilities, driving process excellence, efficiency, safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Food & Beverage Operations: Lead F&B operations with focus on food quality, hygiene, service standards, menu innovation, inventory optimization, cost control and profitability.
- Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth: Drive revenue and profitability across F&B, entertainment, retail, events and other business streams through revenue strategies, performance analysis and effective operational planning.
- Guest Experience & Brand Excellence: Build a guest-centric culture by delivering exceptional hospitality, enhancing engagement and satisfaction, and maintaining consistent service standards.
- Cost Management & Financial Control: Manage operational budgets and control food, labour, inventory, utilities and other operating costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Business Expansion & Operational Readiness: Lead operational readiness for new projects, expansions and enhancements, including manpower, equipment, processes, technology and execution planning.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Manage strategic vendor relationships, procurement, quality, supply continuity and commercial negotiations to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Compliance, Safety & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with statutory, food safety, labour, health and safety requirements. Lead audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
- Operational Audits & Continuous Improvement: Conduct regular operational reviews and audits, using data and analytics to improve productivity, optimize costs and enhance guest satisfaction.
- People Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams through engagement, performance management, capability building and succession planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, Engineering, Projects, IT and other functions to execute strategic initiatives and business improvement programs.
- Reporting, Governance & Strategic Planning: Drive operational dashboards, MIS, financial reviews and KPI tracking while supporting strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and organizational governance.

**Experience & Qualification:**

Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Operations Management or equivalent. MBA in Operations, Hospitality Management or Business Management will be an added advantage.

**Experience:**

12–18 years of progressive experience in Hospitality, Entertainment, Theme Parks, Multiplexes, Hotels, Resorts, QSR or Large Format Retail. Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial leadership role handling multi-unit operations. Proven experience in Food & Beverage Operations, Commercial Operations and Revenue Management.

- Strong understanding of cost optimization, vendor management, budgeting and operational compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure business environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across business locations as required.
