### Position Overview

The University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) School of Business invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management starting in Fall 2027 (possible start in January 2027 could be considered). Faculty with teaching interests in Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, or Strategy are especially encouraged to apply. This is a full‑time, tenure‑track position, responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester.

The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.

### Minimum Qualifications

- Doctoral degree in management or another closely related area. ABD will be considered.

- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.

- Demonstrated potential or effectiveness in scholarship.

- Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching formats.

- Evidence of ability to contribute to the positive culture of our school, university, and community.

### Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester.

- Expected to produce quality scholarship and participate in service activities, including program development, course development, program assessment, and committee leadership.

- Expected to provide instruction in a range of management courses.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.

- Experience in developing both face‑to‑face and online courses.

- Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.

### Job Duties

- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities.

- Engage in high‑quality research and scholarship relevant to the teaching discipline.

- Engage in university, professional, and community service.

- Support student success and career development initiatives.

### Physical Requirements

- Communicating with others to exchange information.

- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.

- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

### Environmental Hazards

- No adverse environmental conditions expected.

### Work Schedule

Teaching courses and maintaining at least eight office hours per week.
