Description

Education:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution.

Preferred: Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a related healthcare field.

Experience:

Preferred: Previous experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Preferred: Experience in occupational medicine, orthopedics, physical therapy, industrial rehabilitation, sports medicine, or related healthcare settings.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong clinical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal evaluation, injury prevention, rehabilitation principles, and occupational health practices.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, employers, healthcare providers, and community partners.

Ability to educate individuals and groups regarding injury prevention, workplace safety, and health promotion.

Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard computer applications.

Commitment to patient confidentiality, professionalism, and exceptional service.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required: Current Missouri Athletic Trainer License is active and in good standing.

Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
