### Job Description

- Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;

- Conducting routine pre‑flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;

- Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;

- Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;

- Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.

### About the Candidate

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team in Townsville or Cairns. If you are a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you are the type of person we would like to welcome aboard.

- 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);

- Trade Certificate IV (Avionics);

- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;

- Strong team player;

- Ability to follow supervisory direction;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;

- Passion for safe work practices;

- Valid work visa;

- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);

- Current Australian Driver's licence.

Shifts will be primarily Monday to Friday day shifts, with some possible early/late & night shifts.
