Full-Time Bookkeeper - The Color House

Location: Rhode IslandPosition: Full-Time

Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Excel and is highly proficient in QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily bookkeeping functions including A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations

- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks

- Process invoices, payments, and vendor statements

- Prepare and update financial reports using Excel (must be advanced level)

- Track expenses and assist with monthly and year-end close

- Reconcile discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across systems

- Support internal reporting and assist leadership with financial insights

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)

- High attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
