Events & Catering Sales ManagerCorporate & Social Events, Weddings & Banquet SalesWe are seeking a high-performing Events & Catering Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through corporate, social, and wedding events. This is a prime opportunity for a motivated hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships, closing business, and curating exceptional event experiences.This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales mindset, entrepreneurial drive, and hospitality background who is seeking a growth opportunity with an established high-volume venue. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing to upselling—while partnering closely with operations to deliver flawless events.Summary of Job Duties:Sales, Revenue & Business Development• Proactively convert web, phone, and walk-in inquiries into booked, revenue-generating events• Build, manage, and grow a strong sales pipeline across corporate and social markets• Prospect and source new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and community involvement• Conduct compelling venue tours and client presentations that lead to bookings• Create customized proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close contracts• Strategically upsell menus, bar packages, enhancements, and premium experiences• Maintain strong long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business• Support and help execute event-focused marketing and promotional initiativesClient Experience & Event Execution• Act as the main point of contact from initial inquiry through event completion• Collaborate with clients to design high-impact events that exceed expectations and maximize revenue• Coordinate menus, rentals, décor, logistics, timelines, and specialty services• Produce and manage all client correspondence, contracts, and BEOs• Partner with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless deliveryWhat We’re Looking For• Proven success in hospitality, catering, or event sales• A confident closer with excellent negotiation and consultative selling skills• Highly relationship-driven with a polished, professional presence• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and energized by revenue targets• Exceptionally organized, responsive, and detail-focused• Able to remain composed and solution-focused in fast-paced environmentsExperience & Skills• Background in upscale hotel, venue, club, restaurant, or catering environment• Strong knowledge of food & beverage, service standards, and event operations• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Flexibility to work some nights and weekends based on eventsTechnology Experience Preferred:TripleSeat, AllSeated, Opera, Jonas, Micros, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.Competitive Base Salary + Commission Structure• High-impact sales role with real earning and growth potential• Diverse mix of corporate, social, and wedding events• Entrepreneurial environment with strong brand presence More detail about The City Club of San Francisco, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/449927-The-City-Club-of-San-Francisco
