## Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to own retail, omnichannel, and digital commerce technology — building the platforms and customer experience that will carry the brand through 4x store growth.

**Position:**Chief Technology Officer

**Experience**: 15+ years

**Location:** Mumbai

**THE ROLE**

**This is a builder's mandate, not a maintainer's role.**

You will spend the first 6–8 months hands-on — doing the groundwork yourself before scaling a team — as you help transition a founder-led culture into a professionally managed one, while preserving the trust and values built over eight decades.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

● Define and own the retail and digital commerce technology roadmap to support scaling from 12 to 51 stores

● Select and implement POS and store-management systems that scale across a rapidly growing network

● Build or upgrade the e-commerce platform and mobile app for a seamless omnichannel journey

● Implement CRM and loyalty systems suited to a high-trust, high-value jewellery brand

● Build commerce data infrastructure and analytics to support merchandising and expansion decisions

● Partner with the Head of IT on integration with core ERP, infrastructure, and cybersecurity

● Build and lead the retail/commerce technology team from the ground up

● Champion technology adoption and digital transformation across a founder-led organisation

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

● 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with 3–5+ years in a CTO/VP Technology (Retail/Commerce) role

● Proven experience building retail or e-commerce technology platforms from scratch

● Experience in retail, e-commerce, luxury, or multi-location consumer businesses; jewellery sector exposure a plus

● Track record supporting rapid, multi-location scale-up (store network expansion)

● Hands-on, execution-first mindset with the patience to operate in a founder-led environment

● Graduate degree required; Master's/MBA preferred
