Job Description A well-established, fast-paced law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy defense practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of attorneys on complex matters from inception through trial.

**Responsibilities:**

- Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery in state and federal courts
- Manage case files from intake through resolution, including maintaining deadlines and calendars
- Coordinate and prepare discovery responses, including document production and organization
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness files, and trial binders
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed
- Summarize medical records, depositions, and case documents
- E-file documents and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

**Requirements:**

- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (defense preferred)
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing requirements, and deadlines
- Experience with e-filing in both state and federal courts
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal software (e.g., case management/billing systems) a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
