CMP Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled CMP Process Engineer with an extensive understanding of CMP tools and processes. The candidate will work independently with customers to understand technical challenges, perform root cause analysis, and deliver efficient and effective process solutions. Role & Responsibilities:Own CMP process engineering for 300 mm semiconductor manufacturing, including process development, optimization, and sustenance.Lead process start up, qualification, and production release, ensuring compliance with best known methods (BKMs) and fab standards.Define and execute tool acceptance, qualification, release, and control strategies for CMP equipment to ensure stable and repeatable performance.Plan and run short loops, first silicon trials, and learning cycles to improve process capability and yield improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support equipment integration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.Support MEMS test structures, characterization, and qualification flows, as required. Mandatory Skills:Master's/Ph.D. in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or any related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor process development, with strong expertise in CMP processes and related metrology.Preferred SkillsHands on experience with CMP equipment and process characterization toolsStrong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and DOE methodologiesExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
