### Job Description

Medical Doctor – Medical Cannabis Evaluations Location: Bonita Springs, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation: $100–$125 per hour Work Setting: On-Site Position Summary We are seeking a responsible and compassionate Medical Doctor (MD/DO) to provide high-quality patient evaluations for medical cannabis certifications. The physician will assess patient conditions, determine eligibility for medical cannabis, and promote safe, evidence-based use. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who values patient education, preventive care, and alternative approaches to improving patient health and quality of life.

### Key Responsibilities

- Conduct patient consultations and health assessments to determine eligibility for medical cannabis.

- Review patient medical histories and make informed clinical assessments and diagnoses.

- Evaluate patients for appropriate medical cannabis treatment based on applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.

- Provide guidance regarding healthy habits, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.

- Recommend or authorize medical marijuana or low-THC products when clinically and legally appropriate.

- Provide patients with clear instructions regarding appropriate use and safety considerations.

- Submit and follow up on Request for Exception (RFE) cases as part of routine patient care.

- Maintain a compassionate, professional, and trustworthy environment for patients.

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

- Ensure compliance with applicable Florida medical cannabis regulations and documentation requirements.

- Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of medical practice.

### Required Qualifications

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

- Active, unrestricted Florida medical license.

- Experience practicing as a physician.

- Strong understanding of diagnostic methodologies and clinical evaluation.

- Comprehensive knowledge of common medical conditions, medications, side effects, and contraindications.

- Familiarity with applicable medical cannabis laws and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Strong clinical judgment and patient-care skills.

- Commitment to patient confidentiality, professionalism, and compassionate care.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Board Certified or Board Eligible.

- At least 1 year of experience with Request for Exception (RFE) submissions.

- Willingness and ability to travel between clinic locations, potentially up to 75%.

- Willingness to relocate to Bonita Springs, Florida, preferred.

### Compensation & Schedule
