We're Hiring | Assistant Manager – Component Development (Electronics)

\n Position: Assistant Manager – Component Development – Electronics

\n Location: Pune

\n Experience: 5–10 Years

\n Direct Permanent Payroll | Indian MNC

\n We are looking for an experienced Electronics / Electrical Component Development professional with strong expertise in automotive electrical & electronics systems, component development, validation, supplier coordination, and new product development.

\n Key Responsibilities

\n • Lead end-to-end development of electrical/electronic components from concept to production.

\n • Define electrical specifications, functional requirements, and interfaces for components.

\n • Develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architecture.

\n • Work closely with suppliers for component design, development, validation, and sourcing.

\n • Conduct DFMEA and PFMEA for electrical/electronic components.

\n • Plan and execute DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) for validation testing.

\n • Ensure compliance with automotive standards including ISO, IEC, AIS, EMI/EMC, and safety requirements.

\n • Support integration of components into vehicle systems or EVSE systems.

\n • Troubleshoot electrical issues, component failures, and field concerns.

\n • Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and localization activities.

\n • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Supplier teams for smooth product launch.

\n • Participate in APQP and PPAP documentation and reviews.

\n Key Components / Systems Exposure

\n • EVSE – AC/DC Chargers

\n • Battery Management Systems (BMS)

\n • Power Electronics – Inverters / Converters

\n • Wiring Harness & Connectors

\n • Sensors & Actuators

\n • ECU / PCB Assemblies / Control Units

\n Preferred Technical Experience

\n • Strong understanding of electrical design fundamentals and circuit behaviour.

\n • Experience with schematic/circuit design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or equivalent.

\n • Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Modbus, and Ethernet.

\n • Hands-on experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and DVP&R.

\n • Understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding, and shielding practices.

\n • Experience in component validation, testing, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination.

\n • Exposure to EV, EVSE, BMS, or automotive electrical/electronic systems.
