Job Description
Overview
Experienced project manager specializing in electric utility construction. Responsible for leading transmission, distribution, and substation projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electric utility construction projects from initiation to closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, permits, and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the electric utility sector.
- Strong knowledge of utility standards, OSHA, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- PMP or PE certification a plus.
Base pay range
$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Location: Remote (Mondays and Fridays) / Office (LC3 Oakbrook Terrace, Tuesdays–Thursdays)
Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Duration: 12 Months
