Construction Project Manager

Overview

Experienced project manager specializing in electric utility construction. Responsible for leading transmission, distribution, and substation projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electric utility construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, permits, and contractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in the electric utility sector.
• Strong knowledge of utility standards, OSHA, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
• PMP or PE certification a plus.

Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Location: Remote (Mondays and Fridays) / Office (LC3 Oakbrook Terrace, Tuesdays–Thursdays)

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Duration: 12 Months
