Delivery Driver / Rental & Sales Associate

**Seasonal (May–August) | 16–40 Hours Per Week**

**$16–$18 per hour + Generous Employee Purchase Program**

**Reports to Assistant Manager / Sales Manager**

We are hiring a dependable, customer-focused team member to support deliveries, rentals, and in-store sales during our busiest season.

This is a hybrid role combining logistics, customer interaction, and sales. You’ll be trusted to execute deliveries independently while also contributing on the sales floor and supporting the rental team.

### Scheduling Structure

This role is designed to ensure **7-day delivery coverage** throughout the summer.

### We Are Typically Hiring

- One full-time team member (4–5 days/week)
- One part‑time team member (2–3 days/week)

Schedules are consistent week-to-week and assigned in advance.

### Core Responsibilities

### Delivery Execution (Primary Responsibility)

- Safely load, transport, and deliver rental bikes, repair bikes, and new bike purchases
- Ensure all bikes are properly staged, organized, and protected during transport
- Communicate clearly with customers at delivery and pickup
- Represent the business professionally off‑site
- Manage delivery timing and routes efficiently

You will be trusted to execute deliveries independently.

### Rental Support

- Assist with staging, loading, and unloading rental bikes
- Help ensure all outgoing rentals are accurate and customer‑ready
- Support the rental team during busy periods

### Sales Floor Responsibilities

- Assist customers with purchases across the store
- Sell accessories and apparel
- Progress into selling bicycles and car racks with experience
- Help customers make confident buying decisions
- Support overall store operations when not on deliveries

### Experience & Requirements

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be insurable)
- Comfortable driving company vehicles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and handle multiple bicycles safely
- Must ride bicycles and understand basic fit and function

Retail or bike shop experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
