## Job Description

A global real estate investment trust headquartered in New York is hiring a **Director, AI Engineering** to establish and scale its enterprise AI capability. This role focuses on building production-ready AI platforms, delivering high-impact solutions, and embedding AI into core business workflows.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with leadership experience, and has a track record of turning AI concepts into scalable, real-world applications.

- Define and execute enterprise AI strategy and architecture

- Build and scale AI platforms, services, and infrastructure

- Deliver AI solutions including predictive models, generative AI, and automation

- Partner with business, product, and technology teams to drive adoption

- Lead and grow a high-performing AI engineering team

- Establish best practices for MLOps, governance, and lifecycle management

- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and ethical standards

### Desired Skills and Experience

- 10+ years in software, data, or AI/ML engineering, with leadership experience

- Proven experience building and scaling AI or advanced analytics systems

- Strong knowledge of modern AI architecture (deployment, orchestration, monitoring)

- Experience delivering AI in enterprise or regulated environments preferred

- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience with cloud platforms and modern data ecosystems
