## Job Description

**Position:** NNP **Location:** Reading, PA 

MPLT Healthcare is looking for NP/PA's who **Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up,**and **Have the Courage to Excel**in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced NNP with highly competitive pay rates in Reading, PA. 

**Position Details:** 

- Manage a daily patient panel in a Level IV NICU.
- Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and develop treatment plans.
- Participate in sign-out, multidisciplinary rounds, and daily patient management.
- Complete daily progress notes, discharge summaries, and EMR documentation.
- Update and educate families regarding patient care.
- Perform neonatal procedures including:PICC placement
- UVC/UAC placement
- Chest tube insertion
- Lumbar punctures
- Endotracheal intubation

- Attend high-risk deliveries and admit newborns.
- Complete admissions, history & physicals, and admission orders.
- Respond to NICU code blues and OB trauma activations. Accompany patients during transports for imaging and procedures.
- Participate in ground and air neonatal transports.
- Attend family meetings as needed.
