View full job details and apply now on… Finance and Operations Analyst # Finance and Operations Analyst Weyerhaeuser ## Job Description - Collaborate with unit business leaders to drive operational excellence using problem-solving, financial, and analytical skills. - Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, variance analysis, and reporting to support decision-making processes. - Develop and maintain financial models to forecast business performance and identify areas for improvement. - Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives. - Lead and serve as the focal point for monthly P&L/S&OP forecasting processes and perform month-end closing tasks, delivering key operating cost/margin results. - Conduct financial analysis of all capital projects and develop production reporting for mill statistical tracking. - Lead strategic planning processes, including input on potential solutions for continuous improvement and maintaining key internal controls. - Create, maintain, and deliver routine fiscal management reports, develop efficient and reliable processes, and maintain accurate process documentation. - Lead or participate in special projects, promoting and fostering the teamwork system. - Participate in and work with internal/external financial audits and reports. - Manage time effectively through setting priorities and multi-tasking. - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the manufacturing or softwood lumber industry. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Flexible and capable of adapting to new perspectives and approaches to problem-solving. - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. - Excellent PC skills, specifically advanced proficiency in Excel. - Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting tools. - Excellent communication and people skills to effectively partner with business leaders. - Willingness to travel weekly between McComb, MS, and Holden, LA facilities. - 2-5 years of work experience with a demonstrated progression in work responsibilities. - Ability to excel in a team environment, embrace change, and collaborate to achieve results. - Desire and capacity to learn the business operations of the lumber industry. - Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. - Experience with business enterprise system i.e., SAP a plus About Weyerhaeuser What We Offer: Compensation: Benefits: Retirement: Paid Time Off or Vacation: ## Related Jobs Director, Supply Chain Finance Pmalladmin Director Director, Supply Chain Finance FLOWERS.com Inc.
