## Job Description

**Location:** Dublin, Ireland (4 days onsite — non-negotiable)

**Contract:** 12 months

**Start:** August/September 2026

We are working with a leading Aviation business who are going through a major digital transformation. We are looking for a senior, finance-led Programme Manager not a generic delivery position. The client is looking for someone who can own complex, multi-workstream programmes while providing credible financial leadership at CFO and Executive level.

If your background is approximately **65% finance / 35% programme delivery**, this role was written for you.

You would run the next phase of an SAP project, the implementation is complete and stable so we now will be looking for someone who can translate the strategic direction into structured programme of work, to deliver measurable benefits and capability improvements. So expect to work around organisational change, process improvements, benefits realisation of the finance team.

You'll be embedded across client engagements, working directly with C-suite stakeholders to provide financial rigour, programme governance, and strategic oversight simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities include:

**Finance Leadership (primary focus)**

- Own programme financials end-to-end: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variance analysis, and reporting
- Lead financial reviews and business case development at CFO and Executive level — owning, not just attending, those conversations
- Provide commercial challenge and scrutiny across programme workstreams
- Produce board-level financial reporting and investment summaries
- Manage financial risk identification and mitigation across the programme lifecycle
- Ensure financial compliance and governance standards are met throughout delivery

**Programme Delivery (supporting focus)**

- Define and manage programme structure, governance frameworks, and delivery roadmaps
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage interdependencies
- Track milestones, manage risks/issues/dependencies, and maintain programme assurance
- Facilitate senior stakeholder alignment across Amach and client teams
- Manage vendor and third-party delivery accountability where required

We are looking for people with the below expeirence / skillset:

- 10+ years' experience
- Credible, direct CFO/Executive-level stakeholder exposure — you must have owned these relationships, not supported someone who did
- Demonstrable track record of leading programme financials on complex, multi-workstream engagements
- Experience operating in both finance and programme/project delivery capacities (not exclusively one or the other)
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into executive-level insight
- Comfortable working onsite in Dublin 4 days per week
- Some experience in technology or digital transformation programmes
- Ideally a background in consulting or professional services environment but not essential.
- Exposure to managed services or outsourcing contracts
- Familiarity with ERP or financial management platforms
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent programme management certification - not a blocker.
- Ideally have a Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) — a strong asset, not a blocker
