**Financial Accountant Role - 15 month contract**

**City centre Location**

We’re working with a well-established **multinational organisation** that is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance function in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work in a **multi-currency, international environment**, with strong exposure to group reporting, treasury and financial management.

### The Role

- Preparing monthly group reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and accruals
- Supporting semi-annual consolidation and analysis of group financial results
- Managing monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Overseeing general accounting, VAT and tax matters
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts
- Supporting automated accounting processes and treasury/accounting system integration
- Assisting with annual audits and liaising with external auditors
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
- Contributing to Group Treasury projects and process automation

### What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA or CPA 1-3 years PQE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
- Experience in a corporate accounting environment, ideally within a large multinational
- Experience working in a multi-currency environment
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles
- SAP experience is highly advantageous
- Treasury or financial services exposure would be beneficial
- Knowledge of mark-to-market/fair value accounting is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Professional level English
