Position: **Front Desk / Member Service Advisor**
Location:**Kings Athletic Club — Brooklyn Heights, NY**
**Full-time | $25/hr | Reports to General Manager**

**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced, hospitality-minded professional to join our front desk team as a Member Service Advisor. This is not a traditional reception role. You are the first and last impression of KAC — the person who knows members by name, anticipates their needs, and ensures every visit feels seamless and personal.

You will work directly with the General Manager and own the daily rhythm of member-facing operations. The standard is concierge-level service at every touchpoint — in person, by phone, by text, and by email.

**What you'll do:**
Member experience

- Greet every member and guest by name within seconds of arrival
- Maintain deep familiarity with member preferences, routines, and family details
- Communicate with members across phone, text, and email in a polished, organized, and timely manner
- Manage restaurant reservations and coordinate dining experiences as part of the broader member service offering
- Log meaningful interactions in the member profile system same-day
- Anticipate needs and resolve issues quietly, warmly, and without escalation wherever possible

Daily operations

- Open or close the front desk per shift protocols
- Manage check-ins, access control, and the daily arrival list
- Handle bookings, schedule inquiries, and coordination across departments via Playbypoint
- Keep the lobby and front desk area immaculate and member-ready at all times

Concierge Service

- Maintain a concierge-style standard across every member interaction — no request is too small, no detail is overlooked
- Manage multiple communication channels simultaneously without dropping quality or response time
- Own member concerns from first contact to resolution — never redirect or deflect
- Log incidents and flag patterns to the GM

**Shift schedule** This is a full-time position working 5 shifts per week across a fixed weekly schedule:

**Monday:** 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

**Tuesday:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

**Wednesday:** Off
**Thursday:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

**Friday:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

**Saturday:**3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

**Sunday:**Off

What we're looking for 
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality, luxury retail, or private club environments
- A natural ability to build relationships and remember what matters to people
- Polished written and verbal communication across all channels — phone, text, and email
- Experience managing reservations and coordinating guest or member requests
- Calm and composed under pressure — you never let it show
- Operationally sharp: detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive
- Comfortable with booking and club management systems
- Genuine warmth — this is not a role for someone who just processes transactions
