## Job Description

We are seeking a motivated **Hardware Test Engineer** to join a team responsible for validating next-generation networking and hardware products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute system-level testing, identify and resolve complex issues, and help ensure products meet quality and performance standards before manufacturing release.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Electrical or Computer Engineering graduate who enjoys hands-on hardware testing, troubleshooting, automation, and working in a fast-paced lab environment.

### Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of professional experience or relevant internship/co-op experience in hardware validation, testing, or engineering.
- Hands-on experience using electrical test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, or signal generators.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, TCL, or similar programming languages.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience troubleshooting hardware and automated test environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VRFs.
- Familiarity with hardware architecture and the OSI networking model.
- Exposure to fiber optics, Ethernet technologies, and cable testing infrastructure.
- Experience using network traffic generation and analysis tools such as Ixia or Spirent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced lab or product development environment.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of curiosity, ownership, and a "can-do" attitude.
