Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Inventory and Supply Specialist for the MQ Infusion Program supports the management and control of sterile and non-sterile materials, equipment, and MQ supplies used in infusion services, following the guidelines established by program management. This role helps maintain inventory availability and accuracy, as well as the continuous flow of supplies to AIS agencies, patient residences, and visiting nurses, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordination with pharmacy, nursing, and suppliers under the guidance and ongoing review of the area supervisor.
Responsibilities: Assists with inventory control and maintenance in accordance with the procedures and priorities established by program management.Maintains required levels of infusion supplies and medical equipment in accordance with the supervisor’s instructions and reviews.Documents receipts, issues, adjustments, and returns in the clinical inventory system according to parameters defined by management.Receives merchandise from pharmaceutical and clinical suppliers following procedures established by program management.Verifies invoices and purchase orders to ensure quantity and description match, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor for review.Inspects received items to identify damage, defects, or non-compliance with specifications, reporting findings for approval of corrective actions.Complies with applicable regulations and internal policies by following the guidelines and priorities established by program management.Keeps storage areas clean, safe, and organized in accordance with standards defined by the supervisor.Participates in internal and external audits as assigned, following the instructions and priorities established by program management.Collaborates on continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the supervisor, providing operational input and performing tasks as directed.Performs related operational tasks.
Requirements: High school diploma1–3 years of experience in clinical inventory, pharmacy, medical supply, or healthcare logistics.Previous experience in receiving, verifying, and managing inventory.Basic knowledge of clinical or pharmaceutical inventory systems.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safe handling of materials.
