## Job Description

- Issue financial, regulatory, and management reports accurately, timely, and to a high quality

- Assist with the monthly and quarterly close process

- Prepare bank reconciliations

- Prepare reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts

- Prepare general ledger posting transactions

- Assist with VAT calculations

- Assist with maintenance and development of systems and internal controls

- Strive for efficiencies in the finance function and add value to the business

- Provide accurate, timely, and meaningful financial, management, and regulatory information to the finance team and wider company

- Report to the Finance Manager

### Requirements

- Numerate individual with a relevant university degree

- Seeking to obtain a professionally recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

- Excellent attention to detail

- Proven ability to work to deadlines

- Motivated self-starter

- Team player able to work towards individual targets

- Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

- Must act with integrity

- Must act with due skill, care and diligence

- Must be open and cooperative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators

- Must pay due regard to customers' interests and treat them fairly

- Must observe proper standards of market conduct

- Must act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers
