We are looking for a **Kannada Instructional Designer** who can create engaging, age-appropriate learning content for children and is highly comfortable using **AI and AI-powered tools** as part of the content design process.

Role Overview

As a Kannada Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging learning content, lesson plans, activities, worksheets, scripts, and other learning assets for children.

The ideal candidate should have **100% proficiency in written and spoken Kannada**, strong instructional design skills, and the ability to leverage AI tools to create high-quality content efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Design engaging, age-appropriate instructional content for children.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, scripts, presentations, and other learning materials.
- Create content that is interactive, child-friendly, and aligned with defined learning objectives.
- Translate/adapt concepts between English and Kannada while maintaining accuracy, context, and natural language.
- Use AI tools extensively for research, ideation, content creation, refinement, and instructional design.
- Collaborate with educators, SMEs, and the academic/product team to develop and improve curriculum.
- Review existing Kannada content and continuously improve it based on feedback and learner requirements.
- Ensure grammatical accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency, and quality across all Kannada content.
- Convert complex concepts into simple, engaging explanations suitable for children.
- Maintain instructional design and content-quality standards across all learning assets.
- Manage multiple content projects and deliverables within defined timelines.

Mandatory Requirements

- Excellent written and spoken Kannada – non-negotiable.
- Strong proficiency in AI tools and AI-assisted content creation – non-negotiable.
- Prior experience in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Educational Content Creation, or EdTech.
- Strong understanding of how children learn and the ability to create kid-friendly content.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and content structuring skills.
- Ability to work independently in a WFH environment and manage timelines effectively.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating content for K–8/K–12 learners.
- Experience working with EdTech or online learning platforms.
- Knowledge of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE/SAM.
- Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Google Workspace or similar tools.
- Basic video editing knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Experience creating educational videos, reels, animations, or other digital learning assets.
- Strong visual thinking and ability to storyboard learning content.
