# Lead Journeyman

## Job Description

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on residential, commercial, or industrial job sites

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment per NEC code

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards

- Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and monitor crew productivity

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions

- Communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding project progress

Requirements:

- Valid Indiana Journeyman Electrician license required

- 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in the field

- Prior leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred

- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations

- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
