We are looking for a Legal & Compliance professional who can independently manage legal documentation, regulatory compliance, fund-related requirements, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Legal Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, investment agreements, vendor agreements and other commercial contracts. Support fund and investor documentation, including PPM and related agreements. Conduct and support legal due diligence on prospective investments. Review corporate documents, contracts, litigation matters and key legal risks of investee companies. Coordinate with external legal counsel on specialised legal matters. Support management with day-to-day legal queries, documentation and risk assessment. Maintain and track executed agreements, legal records and contractual obligations. Compliance Responsibilities Manage SEBI/AIF regulatory compliance and maintain the compliance calendar. Monitor applicable SEBI regulations, circulars and regulatory updates and assess their impact on the business. Handle and coordinate applicable SEBI, AIF, MCA/ROC and other statutory filings. Maintain compliance records, registers and supporting documentation. Support AIF/fund compliance, investor onboarding and KYC/AML requirements. Coordinate with CA, CS, auditors, compliance consultants and other external advisors. Track regulatory deadlines and ensure timely closure of compliance requirements. Identify compliance gaps and proactively escalate legal and regulatory risks to management. Ideal Candidate LLB/LLM qualification required; CS qualification is an advantage. 5–8 years of relevant experience in AIF, VC, PE, investment management, asset management or financial services. Strong understanding of SEBI/AIF regulations, corporate law and investment/fund documentation. Experience in legal due diligence, contract drafting and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, drafting, documentation and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders and external advisors. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and managing legal and compliance risks. What Success Looks Like Timely and accurate completion of regulatory and statutory compliances. Strong control over fund documentation, contracts and legal records. Effective identification and mitigation of legal and regulatory risks. Smooth coordination with investors, investee companies, advisors, auditors and regulators. Maintaining a robust and scalable legal and compliance framework as 24 Ventures grows.
