- Complete building work orders and service requests as assigned.

- Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.

- Reports all mechanical failure or negative conditions as observed in assigned area to Maintenance Director.

- Fix fixtures, heating/cooling units, etc.

- Maintain maintenance equipment.

- Perform day-to-day maintenance functions for the community to include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & HVAC.

- Maintain the physical appearance of the community.

- High school diploma or GED desirable.

- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.

- Knowledge and experience with the use of power tools.

- Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents and family members.

- Ability to apply basic math skills.

- Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which may affect internal department.
