## Job Description

Kids & Company is a leading provider of high-quality child care and early childhood education, with a growing network of more than 100 centres across Canada. We are seeking a Director of Marketing to help lead and grow our talented marketing team across the organization’s expanding portfolio of brands.

**The Role**

Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Brand, the Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role for someone equally as comfortable shaping strategies and forming relationships as they are executing tactics and monitoring ROI. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing a team and a background in branding, digital marketing and web development, partnerships, and communications.

**Job Overview**

You will play an integral role in leading and overseeing a talented and expanding team. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and providing strategic oversight on all marketing and communications efforts, including:

- Content development including; Parent communications and newsletters, blog articles and resources/guides, social media
- Management of agency partners/external relationships
- Brand and influencer partnerships
- Social media and paid advertising
- Signage development and execution
- Event ideation and coordination
- Branding & marketing support for new acquisitions, including signage, collateral, web, etc.

**Qualifications**

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey brand messaging to both existing and prospective parents and families.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess situations and develop action plans accordingly.
- Strong leadership skills with 3+ years of management experience, capable of leading and motivating a diverse marketing team to support our ever-growing presence across Canada.
- Experience managing agency relationships or working at an agency in an account management capacity, demonstrating the ability to effectively evaluate creative work, provide direction, and foster relationships.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing & Communications, PR, or related field.

This role offers a salary range of $90,000-110,000 annually, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
