Role Overview We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to support the design and development of AI-driven industrial automation and robotic systems. This role combines hands-on mechanical design, CAD modelling, PTC CREO, fabrication support, and system integration for production-grade industrial deployments. You will work closely with mechatronics engineers, hardware teams, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective mechanical systems for real-world industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities Mechanical Design & Product Development Design and develop mechanical components and systems for industrial automation projects Create detailed CAD models,PTC CREO , manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation Ensure designs are reliable, manufacturable, and aligned with project requirements Collaborate with engineering teams for integrated system design Design Analysis & Optimization Perform structural analysis, stress testing, and design validation Evaluate component compatibility and mechanical feasibility Optimize designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency Support design improvements and iteration cycles CAD Design & Engineering Documentation Develop detailed designs using CAD tools such as PTC CREO Prepare assembly drawings, BOMs, maintenance documents, and technical specifications Maintain proper engineering documentation and version control Ensure compliance with quality and ISO standards Assembly & Fabrication Support Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams during implementation Support in-house assembly, troubleshooting, and integration activities Assist in resolving mechanical and component-level issues during deployment Conduct quality checks on purchased materials and fabricated components Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with hardware, automation, and project teams Support project execution through effective coordination and communication Participate in ideation, research, testing, and product improvement initiatives Contribute to engineering problem-solving and operational improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 1–2 years of experience in robotics, automation, fabrication, or mechanical design projects Freshers with strong academic projects and practical exposure can also apply Experience in industrial automation or robotics projects is an added advantage Key Technical Skills CAD Design (PTC CREO) Mechanical Design & Fabrication Knowledge Technical Drawings & Documentation FEA Analysis & Design Validation GD&T & Tolerance Understanding DFX Principles Assembly & Manufacturing Support Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking Engineering Documentation & BOM Preparation Cross-Functional Coordination Soft Skills Strong ownership mindset and accountability Attention to detail and structured problem-solving Ability to work in fast-paced industrial environments Strong collaboration and communication skills Analytical thinking and design-oriented mindset Ability to coordinate across hardware and engineering teams Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies Execution-focused approach with engineering discipline Why Join Eternal Robotics?
