**Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

**Experience:**

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

**Requirements:**

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

**Additional Details:**

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation; experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone); general medical/surgical skillset including care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, and wound care/dressing changes.

Unit Details: MedSurg diagnoses include DKA, sepsis, wounds, CHF, AKI, pneumonia, diabetes, anemia, and sickle cell crisis. Surgical cases include pancreatitis, spinal fusions, and orthopedic total joints (knees/hips). RN ratios: Days: 1:5; Nights: 1:6 - (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8).

No remote tele monitoring - unit clerk, charge/clinical supervisor, and staff are responsible to read and post every shift. Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, Phillips monitors, and Rover Communication.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: Floating within Region 2 as needed and within scope of practice: Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children's Hospital). If floating mid-shift, traveler will remain on the clock while traveling between facilities.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
