# Mortgage Loan Closer

## Job Description

The Mortgage Loan Closer performs full-service mortgage loan closing duties.

- Accurately prepare closing document packages to meet all underwriting, investor and compliance requirements.

- Ensure all title objections are addressed and will be satisfied prior to or at closing.

- Timely and effective communication with all parties involved in the transaction.

- Coordinate timing of closing with banker, ensure we meet contract dates and/or lock exp.

- Verify that all check and general ledger entries are set up correctly in to ensure accurate accounting records

- Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and production.

- Assist with other duties as needed.

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Required work experience: Two years of mortgage related experience working with processing purchase or refinance applications, clearing title, generating closing disclosures and closing documents.

Technology Skills: Word, Excel, DU, DO, LP, origination software, basic internet skills

Required skills or traits for this position: Professional communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, desire to learn and contribute, able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment
