Hey there, Neonatology Superstar! Are you ready to bring your expertise where it truly matters while enjoying wide-open spaces, a strong sense of community, and an exceptional cost of living? We re seeking two full-time Neonatologists to join a growing NICU program in Odessa, Texas.

If you re excited about meaningful work, program growth, and making a lasting impact on neonatal care in West Texas, this opportunity is worth a closer look.

- You ll play a key role in a Level II NICU with a planned transition to Level III, offering the chance to help shape and elevate the program.

- Currently a 12-bed NICU, designed to support both growth and high-quality patient care.

- Approximately 1,400 annual deliveries, serving a broad regional population.

- Average daily census of 6 7 patients, allowing for thoughtful, patient-centered care.

- Managing neonates born at 32 weeks gestation or greater and weighing 1,500 grams or more.

- Caring for convalescing infants transitioning out of intensive care.

- Providing short-term mechanical ventilation support as needed.

- Stabilizing and coordinating transfer of critically ill neonates requiring higher-level care.

- Treating infants with perinatal substance exposure, including scoring and pharmacologic management.

- Managing low-birth-weight infants who require extended monitoring, feeding support, and nursing care.

- Delivering critical neonatal interventions such as CPR, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and acute stabilization.

- Combination of in-house daytime coverage and on-call overnight responsibilities.

- 30-minute response time for call.
