Every day you will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage complex care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will possess an enthusiastic, patient-first mindset, keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency, thriving in a dynamic clinical setting where no two days are alike. - Observes, collects, and records data related to patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care ability, as well as educational and discharge planning needs. - Analyzes assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis. - Implements an age appropriate plan of care. - Documents and utilizes patient data to measure progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and patient goals. - Effectively manages and utilizes sophisticated equipment. - Coordinates care given by other disciplines to ensure that the patient's care needs are met and progress toward goals is attained.
