### Job Description

Job Description We're seeking a **Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer** to lead projects from design through construction, work alongside multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, and other complex building projects.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead the plumbing and fire protection design for multiple projects.
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
- Perform engineering calculations, including equipment sizing and hydraulic analysis.
- Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
- Review designs for quality, code compliance, and technical accuracy before issuance.
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and engineering disciplines throughout project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall technical execution.
- Develop practical engineering solutions during planning and design phases.
- Communicate directly with clients and participate in project meetings.
- Stay current with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection codes and standards.
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM-based design workflows.
- Experience performing hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently and as part of a team.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Industry certifications such as CPD or LEED AP are beneficial but not required.
