View full job details and apply now on Confidential Careers. # Project Coordinator TalentSphere ## Job Description ### Job Description Job Description Project Coordinator – High-Rise Residential Construction Location: Vaughan, OntarioWork Environment: Approximately 50% site / 50% officeCompensation: $85,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience + benefits A reputable residential developer and builder is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support active and upcoming multi-storey and high-rise residential construction projects. Based out of Vaughan, this position will involve a combination of office-based project coordination and regular presence on active construction sites. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, consultants and subcontractors throughout the construction process. Responsibilities - Support the Project Manager and site team throughout all phases of construction - Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change documentation and consultant correspondence - Maintain project documentation, drawing logs, schedules and contract records - Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel - Review drawings and specifications and assist with resolving coordination issues - Assist with procurement, tendering and subcontractor coordination - Track project progress, deficiencies and outstanding construction items - Attend project meetings and conduct regular site walks - Assist with cost tracking, change management and progress reporting - Monitor key project milestones and follow up on outstanding documentation - Support project closeout, turnover and deficiency management - Maintain communication between office and site teams to ensure project information is current and accurate Qualifications - 5+ years of construction experience, preferably within multi-storey or high-rise residential construction - Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology or a related construction discipline - Strong knowledge of Ontario construction practices, building requirements and project delivery processes - Demonstrated experience supporting active construction projects involving multiple trades and consultants - Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, drawings and specifications - Experience working directly with site teams, subcontractors and consultants - Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in both an office and active construction-site environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities - Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office is considered an asset This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator looking to take on greater responsibility within a growing high-rise residential construction team.
