At CI&T, a Project Manager (PM) acts as the vital bridge between agile execution and client business goals. When assigned to the**Client** account—a major global manufacturer of precision machinery, bearings, and automotive components—the role transitions from a standard software delivery manager to a strategic partner driving industrial digital transformation.

The core job responsibilities tailored specifically to managing the CI&T squad for **Client** span three main areas:

### 1. Delivery Leadership & Agile Governance

**End-to-End Execution:** Lead a squad (Developers and Data Engineer) to maintain and enhance digital products (e.g., supply chain platform, label management/printing).

**Agile Maturity:** Maintain and optimize agile ceremonies (retrospectives, daily stand-ups) while removing operational bottlenecks to ensure predictable, high-quality code delivery.

**Metrics Management:** Track and report on key health indicators, including squad velocity, support performance and SLA compliance.

### 2. Client Relationship & Business Alignment

**Continuous Partnership:** Act as the primary point of contact for **Client** stakeholders. **Client** and CI&T have been partners for 20 years. It is important to know the history and, at the same time, understand their current needs and opportunities.

**Expectation & Scope Management:** Negotiate and prioritize the backlog alongside **Client** Business representatives, balancing long‑term digital strategy with immediate industrial or automotive division needs.

**CI&T Account Growth:** Work closely with CI&T Account Directors to identify new opportunities within **Client**, positioning the squad to scale and add deeper value across different regional business units.

### 3. People Management & Technical Culture

**Team Development:** Cultivate a high-performing team culture focused on psychological safety, continuous learning, and autonomy. Conduct 1-on-1 feedback sessions, performance evaluations, and career development plans for squad members. Collaborate with technical members to better understand gaps and risks in the project.

**Quality Standards:** Ensure the team follows CI&T’s high technical standards—promoting Lean principles, CI/CD automation, clean code architectures, and robust QA practices to meet **Client's** high standards for precision and reliability.

### Candidate Profile & Requirements

**Experience:** Proven track record (typically 4+ years) leading agile teams as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Project Manager in complex digital consulting or enterprise software environments. Experience with SAP is a plus.

**Methodologies:** Deep expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean IT, and scale frameworks.

**Industry Context:** Experience working with industrial, automotive, or global supply‑chain clients is a differentiator for the **Client** account.

**Soft Skills:** Exceptional communication, conflict‑resolution, and client negotiation skills. Ability to interface comfortably with both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.

**Languages:** Fluency in English is mandatory and proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish or Japanese is often preferred due to **Client**s global footprints (HQ is in Japan; other units such as Brazil and Mexico are highly relevant).
