## Job Description

**PV Data Analysis Veterinarian (Animal Health Pharmacovigilance)**

12-Month W-2 Contract (Potential for Extension)

Join a leading **animal health** organization supporting pharmacovigilance (drug safety) for marketed veterinary products. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys data analysis, safety surveillance, and working in a highly regulated environment. You'll play a key role in monitoring adverse event data, identifying safety signals, and supporting regulatory reporting while collaborating with a global pharmacovigilance team.

### What You'll Do

- Review and interpret veterinary adverse event case reports.

- Perform pharmacovigilance data analysis and signal detection.

- Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc safety trend reports.

- Analyze and summarize data using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).

- Prepare safety documentation and support regulatory reporting activities.

- Maintain accurate case documentation in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with U.S. and global pharmacovigilance teams to support ongoing product safety monitoring.

### Required Qualifications

- DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent veterinary degree.

- Pharmacovigilance experience or strong interest/experience working with safety data.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables (VLOOKUP and formulas are a plus).

- Ability to interpret clinical/veterinary case narratives and summarize findings.

- Experience working in a regulated environment with strong attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Able to work onsite at least 3 days per week.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with PVWorks or another pharmacovigilance database.

- Background in pharmacovigilance, epidemiology, statistics, or signal detection.

- Experience supporting regulatory reporting for animal health products.

- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 onsite days per week.

- Flexible working hours with overlap during core team hours.

- Collaborative global team supporting animal health pharmacovigilance.

- Structured onboarding with opportunities to become fully independent over the first several months.
