Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition summary: The Receiving Manager oversees receipt of all raw products, in-house inventory & cooler management and coordinates the distribution of frozen meals to offsite distribution center while ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving at Production Site· Oversees all receiving, storage and rotation of all inventory at production site.· Breaking down & baling cardboard as needed· Coordinates distribution of sealed meals to offsite distribution center· Ensures that all food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.· Ensure proper rotation using the First-In First-Out Method (FIFO).· Manages Packaging Coordinators to ensure proper packing and rotation of meals· Provides awareness to Director of Food Services regarding equipment maintenance & repair needs.
Other Responsibilities:· Adheres to all Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, by protecting the privacy and security of all patient/client health information· Participates in Moveable Feast’s events as required.· Knowledge of and adherence to Moveable Feast’s Personnel Policies and Procedures· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE· At least 2 years’ work experience in a large volume commercial or production kitchen· Possess or can obtain Maryland ServSafe certification· Must be able to work on site during production hours· Ability to operate pallet jack· Ability to stand at counter height for up to 4 or more hours; lift up to 50 pounds· Possesses familiarity with ERP for receiving & inventory tracking
