## Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day Shift role in an ICU setting.

### Key Responsibilities Include

- Performing comprehensive assessments, including admission, transfer, and post-procedure evaluations.

- Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and protocols.

- Administering medications, IV fluids, and providing patient and family education.

- Recognizing changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate actions, and documenting care and responses.

- Providing specialized high-risk care, including restraint use, pain management, and abuse assessment.

- Maintaining safety, infection control, and adhering to policies and procedures.

- Collaborating with healthcare team members, ensuring effective communication, and providing quality, cost-effective service.

- Engaging in professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice.

- Delivering age-appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients.

- Supporting a respectful, compassionate environment by demonstrating empathy, teamwork, and professionalism.

### Qualifications And Skills

- Current RN licensure in applicable states (Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin) with BLS certification.

- Ability to perform assessments, collaborate, adapt to changing demands, and maintain safety standards.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient-centered care skills.

- Commitment to infection control, professional growth, and service excellence.
