Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

### Position Details:

Nurses work 12-hour shifts 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am with rotational weekends.

Full time or part time

Incentives:

- New Grad $5,000 Sign-on bonus for nightshift only

- 1-2 years' RN experience Sign-on bonus $13,000 for nightshift only

- 3-4 years' RN experience Sign-on bonus $15,000 for nightshift only

- 5+ years' RN experience Sign-on bonus $20,000 for nightshift only

- Education Assistance:Up to $20,000 Loan Forgiveness for new grad nursesTuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 per year

- $3000 Relocation Assistance for full time only

- Weekend Differential

- Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am

- Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential

- Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential

- New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $10.00 RN

- Day-One comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance

- PTO/Vacation Time Frontload Up to 80 Hours for Experienced RNs for full time only

- Employer-Matched Retirement Funds

Qualifications:

- Education: Graduate or upcoming Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

- Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

Unit Information:

7D- Med Tele- Join us and explore a world of opportunities and experiences as we manage complex diagnoses and patient needs. Our unit offers numerous learning opportunities, providing a strong foundation in nursing and clinical skills. We handle both chronic and acute diseases, balancing telemetry, and cardiac care.

Our patients present with multi-system needs, including chest pain, heart failure, dysrhythmias, sepsis, infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions and more. We also care for patients requiring surgical interventions such as cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies.
