## Job Description

Registered Nurse - Paediatric Complex Care

Bluebird Care Cork City is seeking compassionate and experienced **Registered Nurses** to provide one-to-one nursing care for children with complex healthcare needs in the community.

We have openings in Blarney and Cork City.

### Locations & Hours

### Blarney, Co. Cork

- 5 x 8-hour night shifts (Monday-Saturday)

### Cork City

- 6 x 9-hour night shifts (Monday-Saturday)

- 5 x 6-hour day shifts (Monday-Saturday)

### Clinical Responsibilities

Successful candidates will provide person-centred nursing care, which may include:

- Medication management

- Seizure management

- Ventilation/BiPap management

- Enteral feeding management

- Nebuliser management

- Pain management

- Care of children with disabilities

- Complex airway and tracheostomy management

- Urinary catheter management

### Role Requirements

- Registered Nurse with an active NMBI registration

- Previous paediatric and home care experience is essential

- Experience in epilepsy management and seizure care.

- Excellent communication skills and a caring, family-centred approach

- Valid Irish Drivers Licence and Car
