Job Description
We're looking for an Operative to join our Anglian Water team based in Kings Lynn. Location: Kings LynnHours: 45 hours per week We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Reinstatement Operative, you'll play a vital role in delivering essential infrastructure services across our region.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, you'll be responsible for reinstating highways and surfaces following excavation works for water mains repairs, new connections, and other utilities projects. Your work will ensure that roads and public spaces are restored to the highest standards, keeping communities safe and connected. What will you be responsible for?
As an Operative, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team, supporting them in delivering high-quality reinstatement services for Anglian Water. Your day to day will include: Carrying out high-quality reinstatement works including tarmac, concrete, and modular paving following excavationEnsuring all reinstatement meets HAUC and local authority specificationsOperating plant and machinery safely, including rollers and compactorsCompleting job documentation using tablet-based systemsMaintaining site safety and traffic management compliance whilst working collaboratively with excavation and repair teams What are we looking for? This role of Operative is great for you if you: Have previous experience in highway reinstatement or utilities reinstatement (desired but not essential - we provide full training)Hold a Full driving licence (essential)Are committed to delivering quality results whilst working safely and professionallyCan work collaboratively within a team environment and build positive working relationshipsHave CSCS card, EUSR Water Hygiene, or NRSWA certification (desirable - training can be provided) We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
