We are a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.

Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated **Family Law Attorney** to provide **high-level legal research and drafting support**.

This is a **fully remote** position with an anticipated workload of approximately **0–5 hours per week**. While the client is based in **New Mexico**, **New Mexico licensure is not required**. A **California-licensed attorney is preferred**, but attorneys licensed in other U.S. jurisdictions with strong family law experience are encouraged to apply.

**Attorney Responsibilities:**

- Conduct substantive legal research on complex family law issues
- Draft high-quality motions, memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
- Assist with legal analysis and case strategy
- Review case files and supporting documentation
- Provide back-end litigation support to the firm's attorneys
- Deliver accurate, well-reasoned work product within established deadlines
- Collaborate with the firm's legal team on family law matters

**Attorney Requirements:**

- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- California licensure preferred, but not required
- Minimum of 5+ years of family law experience
- Exceptional legal research and persuasive legal writing skills
- Extensive experience drafting substantive family law pleadings and motions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- FastCase experience is a plus, but not required

**Opportunity Highlights:**

Our Attorney pay rate starts at **$80/hour**.
