## Job Description

Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Bandon, OR. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.

### Trading from the Pacific Northwest:

Trade US markets from your local time — the NYSE opens at 6:30am Pacific and closes mid-afternoon. The Pacific Northwest has produced a quietly strong community of independent traders. Pacific Time means a 6:30am open — early start, early finish, with the rest of the day for everything else.

This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital.

### What you will do:

- Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters

- Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach

- Build consistency and scale capital based on performance

### Why options:

Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.

### Compensation:

- Trading experience preferred (equities and/or options), not required

- Strong risk discipline and consistency mindset

- Independent decision-making and personal accountability

- Willingness to complete the Maverick Qualification Program before trading firm capital
