Your Day at Lowe's Key Responsibilities - Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service. - Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise - Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies - Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time - Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service - Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds) - Guide customers through shopping or checkout - Complete other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications - 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information - 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets - Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction) - Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties - Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation Preferred Qualifications - 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience - Bi-lingual skills - Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) To better equip our stores and serve our communities, we strongly encourage bilingual, military, and veteran talent to apply and join our team.
