Job DescriptionSenior Sales Manager - FCL Imports Place of work: Chennai The leading International Freight Forwarding Company is currently hiring for Senior Sales Manager - FCL Imports The candidate for this position will have experience acquiring and handling Chennai based, mid-size as well as high volume FCL customers - be they consignees (Importers). The position reports to the AVP in charge of Chennai operations. Core Responsibilities Maintain and grow a self-driven book of business.

Help team successfully get business from new and existing customer accounts. Explore business opportunities and generate sales leads from consignees (Importers). Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.

Co-ordinate with Customer Service desk, Operations and Documentation department for complete follow-up on shipments generated. Help the team build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers Analyse market trends and implement effective measures for penetrating business. Facilitate prompt preparation & submission of quotation/RFQ to customers.

Ensure submission of sales/division reports to reporting head at regular intervals. Facilitate timely follow-up on collections from customers. Conduct regular review meetings with the team and enhance performance.
