Senior Accountant

Our client is an Insurance services provider. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! Why Work Here Join a growing company with excellent work-life balance and opportunity to grow and be promoted in the future About the Opportunity Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for stand‑alone entities, including supporting working papers Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies Support year‑end audit process and respond to auditor requests Financial Analysis & Business Support Conduct gross margin and client/program profitability analysis Monitor revenue and expense trends and provide insights to the leadership Prepare contractor payout processing for CRU Canada and CRU USA Handle payout email account and respond to client and adjuster inquiries Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billings and contractor payments About You Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Minimum 3 years’ work experience Salary Range $85,000 - $90,000/year Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match (if applicable) Discretionary year-end bonus eligibility You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
